Fruits & Veggies Shortfall

More than 90% of both adults and children do not eat the amount of fruits and vegetables recommended by the latest Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the MyPlate nutrition guide.  Remember to fill half of your plate with fruits and vegetables at every meal and with all kinds such as fresh, frozen, canned, dried, and 100% juice.

Risks of Childhood Obesity

One in three children in the United States is overweight or obese. Childhood obesity puts kids at risk for health problems that were once seen only in adults, like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease.
